The International Conference on Approximation in Scientific Computing 2008 (ICASC'08) will be held during Oct. 26-30, 2008, in Beijing.

Subjects include, but are not limited to:

• Multivariate interpolation and approximation
• Multivariate Fourier analysis and orthogonal polynomials
• Numerical PDEs, integral equations and fast solvers
• Spectral methods and adaptive p/hp FEM on irregular domains
• High efficient linear and non-linear solvers arisen from PDE
• etc..

It is anticipated that ICACS'08 will bring together a broad group of scientists and engineers in the theory and application of multivariate approximations for the solution of a multitude of problems in scientific computing.
